10 Tips on re - building and improving self esteem

1. Forget the myths about Self esteem, it has nothing to do with having lots of money or not having a nice house or owning a big flash motor, in fact self esteem has very little to do with material possessions, It is all about the way you see yourself and the way you think that others see you!

2. Don’t feel so guilty, Why should you? Self esteem is about the way you see yourself and the way others see you, If you don’t respect yourself enough , it’s fair to say that you will find it difficult to command the respect from others that you deserve.

3. You have to remember that you were born as an individual, forget peer pressures, and wanting to be like everyone else. Why would you want to be like everyone else? You are you!

4. Take time out for yourself, no matter what our situations are, we can all do this. When you are feeling low - Go for a walk, have yourself a nice bath, try to do something that’s going to make you feel better - It will do wonders for your self confidence!

5. Remember when it’s about self esteem, it’s all about you and your self image, and so it should be…. Don’t ever feel selfish about that.

6. One of the biggest reasons that people begin to feel bad about themselves is when their health starts suffering. This effects all areas of our lives so any improvements you make will immediately start to improve your self image and make you feel better, make sense?

7. Start to make changes in your life, because every single change – no matter how small will alter the future events in your life, every change or action will cause a reaction, remember throwing a pebble into a pond and watching all the ripples, remember how they got wider and wider – well it is the same with actions – every one you take has ever widening implications, so go on –create some good ripples!

8. Things happen to all of us in our lives. You’re no different to me, the difference in all of us is that we’re individuals so we all approach things differently - accept that things are sometimes beyond our control, Sometimes there isn’t a solution to a problem, Therefore there’s no problem to solve – get it?

9. Try to give yourself answers to your questions. “What’s going to make me feel better?” I know from personal experience that it’s not easy, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the answers are there.

10. Try this, there are some people out there that seem to the rest of us to go through life without a care in the world. However, I suspect that beneath that veneer there is always a little uncertainty, That’s life! but hey, See what happened then? When we feel that other people have problems too, We start to feel better. Make sense?

So now is the time to start to re- build that low self esteem, boost your self image and really make some changes!
Take a look at ,this! I think it going to make you a whole load of good ripples!

Remember, “ when you think that you’ve come to the end of your rope – tie another knot and hang on !”
